The Nikkei, one of the big newspapers in Japan has reported that Amazon will try to enter Japan’s complex e-reader market, and it plans to achieve this with its Kindle Touch scheduled for release in that country in April.

The daily reported that the price tag for the device will be below twenty thousand yen ($260). Amazon will collaborate with NTT DoCoMo Japanese mobile carrier for 3G admittance to Gratis the Kindle’s online shop. Amazon is hoping that the Kindle’s highly competitive pricing will help it penetrate the notoriously chilly Japanese e-reader marketplace. Also, Amazon’s e-readers will be taken to the territory of Rakuten, which is one of its major competitors
